Issues with Google Authenticator

If Google Authenticator codes are't working properly on your device, it would be because the time on your Google Authenticator isn't synching properly.

Android Devices

To make sure that you have the correct time:

  1. Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app
  2. Click "Settings"
  3. Click "Time correction for codes"
  4. Click "Sync now"

On the next screen, the app will confirm that the time has been synced, and you should now be able to use your verification codes to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app, and will not change your device’s Date & Time settings

iOS Devices

For most carriers the time update is done over the network. In these cases, you'll need to contact your carrier for issues. Otherwise, you can to set it and check manually.
  1. Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app
  2. Click "Settings"
  3. Click "General"
  4. Click "Date and Time"

Hello, my blog, personal sites and portfolio links don't open on My Contributor Profile page. When I click on each icon, I get an error message that reads " This site can’t be reached https’s server DNS address could not be found. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" . I appreciate your assistance in correcting this issue. Lorna Hordos
